This paper develops a theory of “writing history”, a new practice that allows individuals to write “history” with their hands regarding issues lurking in their subconscious mind. Victims often think that they should not say or write such feelings, and often suppress them. It is a so-called silent state. The bereaved families write letters to those who died in silence. In our research, we emphasize the intention of writing, not a sentence-based approach, an issue which has been written on, and analyzed, in prior scholarship.
The “writing history approach” releases unexpressed emotions in the writer and leads them to understandable things. By this way of understanding it is possible to clarify the problems that have been forced into silence in history so far.
