Mosaic diseases of mioga, Zingiber mioga Rosc, are occurring widely in Chiba Prefecture. A virus isolated from most of these virus-diseased plants was identified as cucumber mosaic virus (Y serotype), and also, tobacco rattle virus was isolated from only one sample.
