Abstract

This problem was first analysed in 1926 by Dr. K. Suyehiro for turbine disc with uniform thickness and under constant presesion. He derived usefull results for calculation of the maximum deflexion due to gyroscopic vibration by the assumption of rest disc.The author solved exactly this phenomena considering both centrifugal and elastic forces and showed that for moderately thick disc it seems to be sufficient to estimate the amplitude by Dr. Suyehiro's method.
