Cyclic Cohomology of Certain Affine Schemes

Abstract

Cyclic cohomology of the commutative C-algebra A=C[x]/(f) associated with f∈C[x] is computed by making use of an explicitly constructed projective resolution. The result is H^even(A)≅C^m and H^odd(A)≅0, where m is the number of mutually distinct roots of f=0 in C.
