ON HIGHER-DIMENSIONAL ANALOGUES OF SLEPIAN′S OPERATOR IN HIS BANDWIDTH ARGUMENTS

Abstract

Investigations are focused on partial differential operators that commute with certain integral operators analogous to those arising from the communication engineering. An explicit self-adjoint operator is derived for the case of discs in the plane.
