The expansion of disasters due to climate change and environmental changes on land and at sea are significant. To adapt to worsening climate change and ensure food security, a shift in values and behavioral change among consumers and producers is necessary. This paper introduces the development of tools to promote shifts in consumer and producer values and behavioral change, along with their effectiveness and implementation challenges. Tools to encourage behavioral change include tasting events using a narrative approach for highly food-conscious groups, farm experiences for chefs, and activities using video content on traditional cuisine for moderately or less interested groups. It overviews empirical research using these tools and discusses challenges and prospects for future implementation.
