Study for Development of Quantitative Life Cycle Assessment Method in Green Purchasing System

Abstract

This paper shows resent situaion of development of quantitative life cycle assessment method (Quantitative LCA) for green purchasing system. MLIT has installed Qualitative life cycle assessment method (Qualitative LCA) in green purchasing system, according to report by Japan Society of civil Engineers in 2006. This report recommended Qualitative LCA, and also pointed out that Quantitative LCA should be installed.
