The privatization of the postal services will give a big impact to the home delivery service trade. In this study. the business statistics and the characteristics of the services of Japan Post and the three biggest companies in the home delivery service trade are compared. From these results, we show where Japan Post is placed in the home delivery service trade and a trend of the trade in the future.
