Abstract
We have proposed a new kind of glasses-free three-dimensional imaging system that is capable of presenting a white cloud-like object as if it were an arbitrarily shaped color object by filtering and coloring light rays using a pinhole-array and a spatial-color-filter. Simple 3D images floating in the air at about 40 cm have been successfully generated as a result of the experiment with Fresnel lenses, though the generated images lacked clarity. On the other hand, comparatively clear 3D images have been generated by direct imaging without the Fresnel lenses.
