Abstract
Full-color 3-D display systems by the electro-holography are described. A phase-shifting holography system for recording 3D color images is developed with a color CCD and a reflective LCD panel, and with red, green and blue lasers. The diffraction grating, which is displayed with the LCD panel in this system, is moved in order to shift the phase of reference lights simultaneously. Full-color 3-D images of high quality are displayed from recorded complex-amplitude in-line holograms by using the developed holographic color display system with a high-resolution reflective LCD panel. The viewing-zone angle or the visual-field angle of the 3-D display is extended up to 18 degrees by reconstructing 3-D images with a 6-channel LCD panel.
