Abstract
Various hyper-spectral imaging schemes can be used in sequaentially-timed all-optical mapping photography (STAMP) which captures ultrafast phenomena in the sub-picosecond to the nanosecond range by single-shot burst images. Temporal images are encoded in spectral images probed by a frequency chirped ultrafast laser pulse. To fully utilize the functions of a center-wavelength-sweeping pulse train generated by a free-space angular-chirp-enhanced delay (FACED) optical layout for a probe laser pulse in STAMP, we introduced an integral field spectroscopy (IFS) method using a microlens array (MLA) to produce hyperspectral images, referring to the technique as LA-STAMP.
