Abstract
Recent expanding microcomb research has been exploring various nonlinear waveguide materials combining
with the on-insulator structure, which are opening pathways to highly functional integrated microcomb
devices. For that, we developed nonlinear SiN, LiNbO3 and LiTaO3, and AlGaAs waveguides to
utilize their unique characteristics. In this article, we provide our achievements for each and future forecasts
on promising configurations for integrated microcomb devices.
