Abstract
The data-driven approach is a rapidly developing area in the field of laser-based material processing. This article highlights the significant role of large-scale data acquisition in developing a digital twin of ultrashort laser processing. Addressing the ongoing challenges in achieving fully automatic data acquisition will be the key to clarify the physics of laser processing.
