Abstract

Nd³⁺-doped LiYF₄ single crystals are grown by the Czochralski technique, which have dimensions of 20 mm in diameter and 120 mm in length. The effective distribution coefficient is found to be about 0.29. The laser performance of a grown crystal is also discussed.
