Abstract
We present results from interaction of helium with intense, femtosecond laser pulses. Using spectral methodfor selecting the harmonics, it can be shown that under certain condition, a single femto or subfemtosecondharmonic pulses as well as train of attosecond pulses can be generated from femtosecond intense driving field.
