Abstract
Many analysis on the ablation structure have been done under the assumption of the stationary propagation. However, as the laser becomes high intensity and short pulse, treatments of the problems as the non-stationary ones become important. In this paper, it is pointed out that one fluid two temperature hydrodynamic equations with the nonlinear electron heat conduction and ion electron energy relaxation show the self-similar motions under the appropriate boundary conditions and we can get varioussolutions under the different similarity parameter α.
Ablation structure of plane D-T torget plasma is analysed using the self-similar solution. It is found that self-similar ablation strueture cannot supply a constant compression pressure under the constant energy absorption, and in order to maintain the constant ablation pressure it is nesserary to increase the absorbed power in propotionto t1/5.
