This paper is concerned with experimental studies on instabilities associated with implosion shock waves. Double cylindrical implosion shock tube is used. Instabilitiesof mode number ι≈12 are observed in spite of initial perturbation of ι≈100. Thisphenomenon is explained by Rayleigh-Taylor Instability.
