POPULATION STUDY OF GAMMA GLOBULIN TYPES IN JAPANESE

Abstract

A population study was made on the Japanese from Kumamoto, Western Japan, for the factors of the Gm and Inv systems. The data obtained were strikingly similar to those of Ropartz et al., who have studied the population from Tokyo, Eastern Japan. Steinberg's assumption of a Gm^ab allele in the Japanese has also been supported by the present investigation.
