A New Ion Optical Investigation of Electric and Magnetic Crossed Fields II: Mass and Energy Dispersion of Ions in Crossed Fields

Abstract

In the previous paper the expression of the path equation in the arbitrary given curvilinear co-ordinate system was deduced.
In this paper, the mass dispersion and the energy dispersion of ions, in such generailzed curvilinear co-ordinate systems was discussed by using the Liouville theorem.
