Abstract
This article reviews the results of the first mass-spectrometric measurements of the dusts and cometary molecules of Comet Halley which have been thought to originate from interstellar molecules. Usefulness of the three kinds of mass spectrometers and the validity of the assignments of the observed ions are also discussed for the understanding of the observed results.
