Abstract
The mass spectrometer for the precise determination of 235isotope ratio on UF6has been developed.The resolving power of this apparatus is 330. The UF+5 ion currents are measured with the accuracy of less than 0.1% by controlling the room temperture and humidity and by shielding the preamplifier. The isotope ratios of 235U are determined with the relative error of less than 0.1% by using the interpolative method. The time required for measuring one sample is less than15minutes.
