A note on Thuidium blepharophyllum (C. Muell.) Jaeg. and T. dodabettense Fleisch. from India.

Abstract

  I have examined the isotypes of both T. blepharophyllum and T. dodabettense from Nilgiri, India. The characters of stem- and branch-leaves, leaf-cells, and paraphyllia of the two species agree well with those of T. cymbifolium. I consider that T. blepharophyllum, T. dodabettense and T. cymbifolium are conspecific.
