Abstract
A 63-year-old woman underwent resection of frontal near parasagittal meningioma and clipping of an aneurysm simultaneously, and was complicated by venous infarction of ipsilateral superior frontal gyrus. She revealed transcortical motor aphasia, which dissolved rapidly in two months. We discuss the mechanism of the rare phenomenon to avoid this burdensome complication.
