Abstract
Larvae of Aedes imprimens quite resemble those of Aedes esoensis (Fig. 1 A & B). Frontal hairs well develop, outer about 10, middle about 6, and inner about 7 fid. Comb number about 10, each sharp and with minute lateral hairs (Fig. 2 C). Pecten has one or two small teeth (Fig. 2 Pt). Anal gill long, apparently equal to siphon length. Larvae of Aedes imprimens differ in the following characters from those of Aedes esoensis : [table] Egg of Aedes imprimens rather slendar, with irregular network ornamentation on its surface (Fig. 3).
