One hundred and twelve species belonging to the 3 subfamilies, Muscinae, Stomoxyinae and Phaoniinae, and 23 genera, and 112 species of muscid flies are recorded from Nepal. Among them, 26 species were new to science and 52 species were newly recorded from Nepal. Keys to subfamilies, genera and species is presented.
