Abstract
Simulium (Nevermannia) wichaii sp. nov. is described on the basis of pharate male, pupal and larval specimens collected from Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. This species is assigned to the feuerborni species-group of the subgenus Simulium (Nevermannia), and is characterized in the pupa by very dark large tubercles on the head and thorax and in the larva by the reduced number (16) of the main rays of the labral fan.
