Abstract
We have proposed a novel type of touch-sensing device using an ultrasonic transducer of leaky Sezawa-wave type that is a binary plate consisting of a transparent substrate and a niezoelectric thin plate on which an interdigital transducer is fabricated. Comparison with a conventional touch-sensing device of surface wave type shows a possibility that a small and power-saving sensing device will be realized.
