Abstract
Various services for lifestyle and healthcare support in free-living environments have been required to be provided based on individual objective, preference, location, and state. Therefore, contextual/ physiological data in real time are important information and a wearable sensing system which monitors human's state and becomes aware of context is needed. We developed a system which monitors human's movement and state by foot pressure sensing shoes, arm posture sensing watch, sound sensing glasses, ceiling sensing badge, and GPS, and can be used in daily life without hindering action. The algorithm for recognizing behaviors (walking, running, standing, sitting, squatting, etc) by plantar pressure patterns was improved and verified.
