Abstract
A radio positioning system which uses a PHS terminal and a radio beacon is developed to achieve a low-cost and accurate positioning system for logistics. Since the PHS positioning error is several hundred meters, it cannot be used to find lost transport objects. In this system, another radio beacon is put with the PHS terminal and their position is searched by a Yagi antenna. The radio beacon can be powered on by PHS communication. The receivable area of radio beacon signal is larger than several hundred meters, and wider than the PHS positioning error range. As a result, the object position can be measured without an error in the PHS communication area.
