Abstract

We already proposed as the 1st report the new type micro manipulator's construction and functions in which Japanese chopsticks and game controller have been applied. Now as the 2nd report, we constructed again more sophisticated manipulating system :the one chopstick top catching up samples is bent as an semi-arc for easy safe and assured manipulations and the other chopstick top is sharply cut inclined then more easy safe and reliable manipulations have been done. We could catch up 70μ m long small shrimps and we moved these to the aimed positions accurately. As a trial example we caught up small shrimp eggs using upper mentioned chopsticks, and we carried these to the place where the sharp needle is located This is a land of injector, its axis is hollow and it is fixed. Then we also tried making a hole and did a little of red ink installation into an shrimp egg. We hope these successful simple and accurate techniques will lead to the actual cell operations.
