Abstract
An appreciable radiographic effect of the increase of a tube-voltage ripple-rate is the increase of a blur due to the motion of an object. This phenomenon is explained in terms of MTFs and information spectra. The advantage of three-phase units compared with single-phase units in the radiographic image quality is evaluated.
