Abstract
Most cerebral and cardiovascular diseases are caused by overlapping risks such as obesity, high blood pressure, hyperglycemia, hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis. To prevent the diseases, it is important to improve a lifestyle such as diet and exercise. However, a spontaneous behavior change in the daily life is very difficult because these diseases lack typical symptoms until the onset. The most important problem is how to obtain information of the patient's diet contents correctly. That is, the indispensable point for the treatment of lifestyle-related diseases is an appropriate dietary therapy. In this paper, we described the current technologies and services for the health management support system and we introduced our system focusing on the food management at home.
