Visualization and Image Analysis: (1) Information Visualization

Abstract

The term "Visualization" has been well used in the newspapers and TV programs, especially for clarification of investigation processes of the police department, or information sharing of progress and payment balance of companies. On the other hand, the original meaning of the term "visualiztaion" is just "visual information representation", and therefore it should have wide range of applications. This paper presents "information visualization" which visually represents general information, and its several case studies.
