Abstract
Nemalionopsis shawii was first spotted in Miyazaki Prefecture in 2019. Since then, the local environment has deteriorated, causing poor growth and a decline in population. In order to conserve the species' native habitat in the future, it will be necessary to improve the surrounding environment, conduct regular monitoring, and take steps to gain the understanding of local residents.
