Abstract

  We theoretically study the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation in a magnetic resonant state due to spin transfer oscillation. An analytic formula of the Gilbert damping for the macroscopic spin is derived. The formula shows a linear relation between the effective Gilbert damping factor and the spin current.
