Abstract
Generation and propagation mechanism of tsunamis are summarized including the recent research topics : inversion method, “tsunami earthquakes”, and new techniques of numerical simulation. Multi-fractral dimension is proposed to find the critical grid size in a given geometry for tsunami simulation.
