A System Supporting the Elderly Area by Road Stations

Abstract

Road station has been installed as a service to road users 20 years ago, currently more than 1,100 stations are installed nationwide. Roadside station “Nagomi” is the only nationwide offering a pick-up service to support elderly shopping. The roadside station ‘Nogomi’ project will be considered as it is an effective case of the system supporting the elderly area in Japan.
