Abstract

This paper examines the formation of development policies in resources–exhausted cities of China. First of all, we analyzed the content of regional promotion measures implemented as part of urban conversion reform for domestic mining and energy resource producing areas due to resource reduction and loss. Through the examination of those promotion measures and concrete cases, we aim to obtain the whole concept of regional promotion measures, gain new knowledge on regional revitalization, and also new reference matters in planning future regional promotion measures in China.
