On the basis of about 1,100 specimens collected from the Yatarou-gawa (river), central of Kanagawa, 196 species are recorded. Taxa of phytogeographic interest include Bryoerythrophyllum gymnostomum, Tuerckheimia angustifolia, Cyathophorella hookeriana, and Archilejeunea planifolia.
