Abstract
Five species and one variety of the genus Calvatia (Lycoperdaceae) deposited in the herbarium of Hiratsuka City Museum, Japan, are reported: Calvatia boninensis, C. candida, C. craniiformis, C. cyathiformis, C. utriformis, and C. utriformis var. hungarica. Among these species, C. candida and C. utrifonnis var. hungarica are newly recorded from Japan. A key to the species of the genus Calvatia is provided.
