Abstract
Production of powder coatings has been remarkably increasing in the world by expanding their application and meeting market demands desired for a special finish or new crosslinking system and so on.
In this paper are reviewed the world-wide and each country's production and the trend of individual resin types of thermosetting powder coatings such as epoxy, epoxy/polyester, polyester/urethane, polyester/TGIC, and acrylic. New closslinking systems and future market needs are also introduced.
Additionaly,, the description was stressed on a novel matte finish technology by means of acrylic/polyester hybrid curing system.
