Abstract
Eight articles (part VIII, XI and XIII-XVIII) on “Studien auf dem Gebiet der Harnstoff-Formaldehyd-Kondensation” by G. Zigeuner and co-workers are introduced. In chapter 1 part VIII and XVI on “Trimethylene triurethane” are mentioned, referring the work by C. S. Marvel (1946). In order to understand well part XI on “Methylene urea” in chapter 3, a classic history of “methylene urea chemistry” is written in chapter 2, where the reports by E. Lüdy (1889), F. v. Hemmelmayr (1891), C. Goldschmidt (1897) and A. Einhorn and A. Hamburger (1908) are also cited. In chapter 4 part XIII-XV on “Uron”, in chapter 5 part XVII and XVIII on “Butylated ureaformaldehyde condensates” are introduced.
