Abstract
Three kinds of polymers or oligomers having both an oxetane moiety and a sulfonate ester linkage in a monomer unit were synthesized. The polymers or oligomers were photocrosslinkable when irradiated in the presence of a photoacid generator. The resulting crosslinked polymers and oligomers became soluble in water after thermolysis. Their dissolubility into water was strongly affected by the molecular weight of the polymers or oligomers and the structure of photoacid generators used.
