Abstract
Abstract: This paper describes how sports hospitality, which is already common practice in Europe and the United States, was introduced to Japan. Comparisons will be made with the long-established professional leagues overseas, using the example of the newly-formed B. Premier, the highest tier basketball league in Japan, which will begin its inaugural season in 2026. It is also expected that sports hospitality will evolve in its own unique way, while merging with Japan’s “Omotenashi” culture.
