Holograms and Optically Variable Devices (OVDs) are important security tools today. However, we often encounter counterfeit holograms that use cheap technology. One of the reasons for counterfeit holograms is the widespread usage of dot-matrix machines whereas holograms are becoming increasingly advanced and diversified. In this study, we introduce the latest trends in security holograms.
