Abstract

There are several methods of color reproduction in printing depending on the kind of original or print. Relatively simple pattern design such as for wrapping papers or cartons, can be printed using (1) regular type inks, (2) special ordered custom color inks or (3) color inks mixed from regular inks. The kinds of paper or thickness of ink film can have a considerable effect on hue, value and chroma of prints.
