Terpenoid Compounds in the Sediments from Hiro Bayt

Abstract

Terpenoid compounds (longiforene, dehydroabietane and retene) contained in the sediments from Hiro Bay were investigated. The amounts of the terpenoids were found to be in the following order: alkali-insoluble fraction, humic acid fraction, chloroform-extractable fraction.
