Abstract
Objective: With rising demand for medical examinations, the concentration of those including X-ray examination of the gastric region may reduce Quality Satisfaction (QS) and Customer Satisfaction (CS). We investigated the usefulness of performing such examinations in the afternoon with a view to preventing congestion in the morning, maintaining QS and CS, and making improvements.
Methods: We divided X-ray images into those taken in the morning and the afternoon and assessed them for diagnosis value visually.
Results: While there were some differences, there were none that were particularly significant.
Conclusions: If food taken at breakfast on the examination day is limited to that not including glucose and lipids, X-rays taken in the afternoon should be just as useful as those taken in the morning.
