Abstract
Objective: As a service for examinee undergoing complete health check-ups, we started providing well-balanced lunches in a comfortable environment and evaluated their satisfaction with it.
Methods: With the cooperation of a nearby restaurant, menus for well-balanced lunches were studied by one of their chefs and a registered dietitian. After starting to provide these original lunches, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 314 complete health check-up examinees who ate the lunch in the period from July to August 2014.
Results: More than 90% of the examinees were satisfied with the lunch, and 10% of them had eaten the lunch more than once.
Conclusions: Providing well-balanced lunches can make a further contribution to the health of complete health check-up examinees so we feel that it is important to continue this service.
