Abstract
In female MCV decreases from thirties and then increases gradually from fifties. On the other and in male increases till fifties and then does not change. Over seventy MCV increases and sex difference disappears.
In female the peak of MCV distributions inclines toward smaller from thirty to fifty and then shifts larger from late fifties. Over seventy the MCV distribution tends to scatter extensively. However such age dependent change in the distribution pattern of MCV is not found in male. RDW-SD becomes gradually larger till late half of thirties both in male and in female, after that in female RDW-SD does not change till seventy but in male it becomes larger according to age. Over seventy RDW-SD increases larger and larger, that indicates the disturbance in proliefation of red cells.
